These Terms of Service govern your use of BentoUtils ("we", "us", "our") available at bentoutils.com. By using BentoUtils you agree to these terms.

1. The service

BentoUtils provides a collection of browser-based file conversion and utility tools. All processing runs entirely inside your browser - no files are uploaded to our servers. We provide these tools on an as-is basis.

2. Free tier

Most tools are free to use up to 20 times per day. Usage is tracked locally in your browser via localStorage. We do not create accounts for free users and do not collect personal data for free use.

3. Pro subscription

A Pro subscription removes daily usage limits for all current and future tools. Subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically. You may cancel at any time through the Stripe billing portal - cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store payment card data.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use BentoUtils to:

  • Process files you do not have the right to process.
  • Circumvent, reverse-engineer, or attack the service.
  • Resell or sublicense access to the service.
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.

5. Intellectual property

BentoUtils and its underlying code are our property. You retain full ownership of any files you process through the tools.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

BentoUtils is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any tool output. Use output at your own risk and verify important results independently.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of BentoUtils, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of BentoUtils after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
