How to Measure

Hold a millimetre ruler horizontally at brow level, at arm's length, pointed at a distant object.
Close your right eye. With your left eye, line up the ruler's 0mm mark with the center of your left pupil.
Without moving the ruler, close your left eye and open your right eye.
Read the mm mark that now lines up with the center of your right pupil - that number is your IPD.
